Today we are learning X

Cor it’s a hard one but we are practicing and doing really well.

We love books!

Zayn chose to share a book for golden time today. We really enjoyed finding a book to share with our friends from the yellow boxes on our reading shelves. Don’t forget you and your child can choose to take  one of these stories home to share too!

Leo goes on a bear hunt

PE

We love the apparatus in PE. We have been finding different ways of moving on, over and under it. We are really confident at jumping off it too!

Our learning this week

We are learning about space in F2. We are enjoying listening to stories about space. This week we read a story called The Way Back Home about a boy and an alien who help each other…we have been helping each other in class too! We are so interested in learning about the different planets in our solar system. We know we live on earth and that earth has lots of water and a moon, we also know that Saturn has rings and Neptune is a very stormy planet!

We can write too

Today we learnt the letter sound ‘h’. We have tried so hard to write a sentence, using our Fred talk to sound out words. We are super writers!

P.E

Today was the first time we did apparatus in PE. We climbed, balanced and jumped off the apparatus safely. Please remember that children need their PE kits on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Music in the round

We had such a lovely time at the theatre today. We saw an orchestra playing music and Polly told us story. We even went upstairs on the bus.
